Coach Josh Beteta brings two decades of high school coaching experience and a proven record of success to our baseball program. From 2020 to 2024, he served as Head Coach at Ferris High School, where he and his accomplished staff, Coach Rob Doughty '08 and Coach Cedric Beteta, transformed the program into a championship contender.
Under his leadership, Ferris reached back-to-back county championship games and captured the 2021 title—the school’s first in 69 years. That same year, Coach Beteta was named Hudson County Coach of the Year.
His teams earned two appearances in NJ.com’s Top 20 rankings and compiled an impressive 57-37 overall record during his tenure. Known for his commitment to player development, team culture, and competitive excellence, Coach Beteta continues to inspire athletes both on and off the field.
