Throughout the history of Hudson Catholic, our policy has focused on creating opportunities for our students that will become an integral part of the educational development of the "whole student." The school firmly believes that athletics has a very important role to play in this and therefore, has a great interest in the students' physical well-being and development.
The growth of athletic activities over the years has provided Hudson Catholic with the opportunity to develop an athletic program that complements the academic rigor of the school. By providing quality athletics with quality academics, we create opportunities for students to enrich their talents in the areas of leadership, cooperation, and fair play.
The diversification of athletic activities can be found in our 16 NJSIAA interscholastic sports. We offer football, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls bowling, cheerleading, boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball, boys and girls rugby, cross country, indoor track and field, and spring outdoor track and field. This variety of activities allows a degree of competitiveness in which each student can have an enjoyable experience while meeting and socializing with many of their peers.
Hudson Catholic offers students, through these interscholastic sports, a valuable co-curricular experience as stated in the Hudson Catholic mission statement. The premise is that these sports will provide every student with moral, physical, and educational values.
