Ms. Alana Howell
Assistant Girls Varsity Soccer Coach

Coach Howell is entering her second year as the Assistant Coach for the Hudson Catholic Girls Varsity Soccer Team. A proud Hudson County native from Kearny—famously known as “Soccer-town USA”—she brings over a decade of playing and coaching experience to the program.

Coach Howell holds her USSF F License and USSF 11v11 In-Person Certification. Her coaching background includes:

• Hudson Catholic High School Girls Varsity Assistant Coach (2024-Current)

Her extensive experience at the youth, middle school, and high school levels has allowed her to develop a strong coaching philosophy centered on player development, teamwork, and passion for the game.

Growing up in a community where soccer is a way of life, Coach Howell has carried her love for the sport beyond her playing days into her coaching career. She is committed to helping her athletes not only improve their skills on the field but also build confidence, leadership, and discipline that will serve them off the field as well.

If she is not coaching then she is cheering on her students here at Hudson Catholic as a second year teacher.
